My Thoughts on The Neutrogena Hydro Boost Gel Moisturiser

Neutrogena Hydro Boost Gel-Cream Review
I've been on the hunt for a lightweight moisturiser for a while now as the one I was using, although nice for when you're suffering from really bad dry skin or dry patches during the winter months, it wasn't the best for warmer months as it tended to be quite greasy and leave me looking very oily. So, when I saw Neutrogena's Hydro Boost gel-cream was half price in Tesco the other week down from £12 to just £6, I just had to pick it up and give it a try.

As my skin is on the mend and all that's basically left behind are a bunch of scars from previous acne breakouts and it's obviously summer right now (although you wouldn't be able to tell with all the rain at the moment), I've been wanting something super lightweight yet still moisturising and hydrating and preferably something that doesn't make me look like an oil slick; and this fits the bill perfectly.

Neutrogena's Hydro Boost is recommended for dry-extra dry skin so if you already have oily skin then this wouldn't be suitable for your skin type.

Being completely oil-free it's not greasy in the slightest and practically melts in your skin as you apply it and because it's also a gel-cream as opposed to just a regular cream it's also really cooling and soothing on the skin and I find that so refreshing, especially after just getting out of a hot shower.

Although this was not my first choice as I've been eyeing up the L'Oreal Hydro Genius for a little while now, I'm still really impressed with this. I'm really enjoying using it and I definitely will be repurchasing once this little pot is all used up.

Since the first day I bought it, it's become a staple in my morning and night time skincare routine; it's just a joy to use and makes my skin feel super soft and well hydrated all the way through the day until I wash my face and apply a thin layer at night before I go to bed.

Overall this is definitely one the best moisturisers I've used for a long time and it will be one I continue using even as we move into autumn and winter. I also personally think it's worth the £12-13 price tag as a little bit goes a long way. This little pot should last me a good 3-5 months which makes it a great value for money as well as being a fab moisturiser!
