The Best Breakfast Muffins

A few weeks ago, my fiance I made a mess in the kitchen, dropped oats all over the kitchen floor, and tried our hand at baking some vegan breakfast muffins from a video I saw on YouTube. Since then we've baked them three or four more times and each time I've tweaked them slightly to fit our personal tastes. What makes them so great is that you can add whatever filling or topping that you like to them. We like to use walnuts or cashews, dark chocolate chips and even banana chips. These scrumptious little muffins have fast become a staple in our household as even my mum likes them with her usual morning cup of tea, so I thought I'd also share them with all of you lovelies too!

Hot Stuff

I've always been a fan of hot and spicy food and since being vegan for over 6 months, I haven't had anything even remotely spicy. So last night my fiance and I took to the kitchen once again and decided to try out a new recipe we saw on YouTube by Hot For Food and we made some rather delicious cauliflower buffalo wings. Although we used half bbq sauce and half hot sauce like Lauren recommended just to cool it down a little, but I think next time I might use a little more than half bbq sauce and less hot sauce because they were still extremely hot and my mouth felt like it was on fire haha!
